The picture on the right shows a quarter turn staircase with wrought iron balustrade and timber handrail.  Decorative moulds have been added to the side of closed string and it has a starting scroll, tread and hand rail and curved starting risers.

The picture on the right shows a quarter turn mono centre string, self supporting staircase with wrought iron and stainless steel balustrade and timber handrail.  It has an open riser and is made from Tasmanian oak.

The black wrought iron balusters and dark timber handrail create a strong contrast with the off white walls and painted timber stairs.

The stairs pictured on the right have a closed string on the outside with no wall string as the stairs are attached directly to the brick wall.
An open riser post with an eased rail and a curved round ended step is used to start this simple and effective staircase.
This stair is based on the 300-1 stair plan.

The picture on the right shows a closed string, open riser staircase where the steps have no timber between them to allow light from the windows to come through. The stairs are started using double ended curtail scrolls and dual handrails. A look of openness and style has been created to fit in with the rest of this beautiful home.
